We are just days from the Super Bowl, and I am pretty excited. My prediction: The Colts will win. Why? They have the better team and a good defense. I think that Drew Brees can hang with Peyton Manning but overall Indianapolis has the better athletes, I think.

Do you remember the television commercials where iron-eyes Cody, the Indian chief, would appear dressed in buckskin clothing and full feathered head dress? He would observe litter. Remember the tears that appeared in his eyes? Those commercials appeared many years ago, but they are fresh in my mind today.

I always like to say that Galveston's Scott Fields is the Pat Riley of the Middle East. For those of you who may not know, Fields is a former professional basketball coach in Lebanon and he was, perhaps, the most popular coach in the area. He is also the son of Perspective outdoors writer Bud Fields.
